　　Guess what plant is purple and smells wonderful. You are right! It is lavender, a small and beautiful flower.

　　During my summer vacation, I would like to liven up my garden with lavender. First, I will plant some seeds around the garden. Then I will water the lavender every day. I hope the lavender will grow up fast so I can see the pretty flowers.

　　Brandon Routh will make longtime girlfriend Courtney Ford his super-wife in November when the couple weds in Santa Barbara, California. The actor has secured the Bacara Resort & Spa for his romantic beach nuptials on 24 November. A source tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "It's going to be an old-fashioned ceremony, on the beach at sundown." Kate Bosworth, Brandon's onscreen love interest in Superman Returns, is expected to attend the ceremony.

　　Humpback whales hold the world's record for longest mammalian voyage. One population spends the warmer months eating a literal ton of food a day in waters off the Arctic Peninsula. Come wintertime, they swim 5,000 miles away to balmy breeding grounds near Columbia and the Equator.
