翻译的时候，是不知道怎么说，还是本身就不知道？不知道大虾有没有遇见过这种：在翻译时，不知道如何去说，其实并不是不会翻译，这是词汇不够的原因吧，是见得太少的原因吧？各位有过这样的体验么？

To tell you the truth, I often have the problem mentioned by you. Knowing sth. is one thing;whether or not you can translate it or express yourself in the foreign language is quite another thing.Personally,if you just want to do well in it,you'll have to have a good command of both the native language and the target language.Besides,different culture can also prevent us from translating something well.And this is why a foreign language learner should also learn about the culture,custom etc. of the country where the target language is used.
Do you agree with me?

For example:Grammatically,we just find it quite natural to say "to show off one's skill in using an axe before Luban,a famous carpenter in ancient China(班门弄斧)".However,compare it with "to teach a fish to swim(教鱼游泳）" and we 'll easily see which is better.

I appreciate somebody understand me and having the same kind of feeling, I think I am unsufficient with these skills.And to grasp it need great effort and time.
