1）The reason why I'm writing is to tell you about a party on Saturday.这句中的"why"用for代替可以吗？

Grammatically,it can't be replaced by "for".As we know,"for" is a preposition.
Focus on the following structures:
the reason why-clause
the reason for-phrase

还有好象reason 后面好象不加why.加that,不知是否是我搞错了

比如，that is why i tell you =that is the reason that i tell you. 当然that 可以省去。

If the relative word is the subject or the object in the following attributive clause,you'll have to use 'that' or 'which'.
e.g
What do you think of the reason that/which he told you just now?
[Being the object in the clause,'that' or 'which' in the sentence above can be ommited.]

But it doesn't mean the word 'why' in the sentence offered by you can be replaced by 'that'.
You should have expressed yourself in this way:
That is why I'd like to tell you =That is the reason why I'd like to tell you.
