大家好，很久没有回到这里发帖了。
我最近整理了一些材料，不知道大家是否喜欢。
每天我都会整理出一篇文章及一些口语的内容，希望能够对一些爱好英语的人提供一些帮助。
另我会占位子，因为我实在没有办法在一个时间内全部整理好，（打字打的比较慢）
所以每天晚上发一些。

Is wireless internet on a plane dangerous?飞机的无线互连网安全吗？
You should be forgiven for thinking the idea of  flooding an airliner cabin with radio waves just so people can surf the Internet at 35,000ft would make safety experts shudder .Not so.
While mobile phones and other gadgets producing radio waves are banned because they can interfere with navigation systems,rigorous testing of wireless internet systems has declared them safe.Lufthansa will become the first air line to offer the service,using Boeings’s “connexion”system.
Radio waves are unwelcome on planes fro good reason.”They can induce false signals in wires or onboard computers,”says Mike Woodward,Boeing’s connexion spokesman.Research carried out by the Civil Aviation Authority last year found that mobile phoes could produce dodgy readings on instruments and set off smoke detectors in baggage compartments.
IN-flight wireless internet access works by fixing a string of stransceivers along the length of the cabin ceiling that can send and receive data to and from laptops on board.The transceivers then ferry information back and forth to a server in the plane’s rudder that connects to the internet via a satellite link.
The systme is safe mainly bbecause the power of the radio waves in the cabin is so low—around 20 times less  than a typical mobile phone.The signals and also a higher frequency than those put out by mobiles,so their range is much lower.
Access to certain sites can be barred if requested.”If people look at sites that disturb other passengers,it’ll be treated,case by case ,in a similar way to where someone hava a dodgy magazine or a CD,”says Woodward.

Two Frogs lived together in a marsh.

DON”t Punch Every Mistake
IN one of my assignments as a young infantry officer, I was sent to the 48th Infantry near Frankfurt ,Germany. IN those days our prize weapon was a huge 280-mm atomic cannon.
One day Captain Tom Miller assgined my platoon to guard a 280.i alerted my men ,loaded my .45 caliber pistol and jumped into my jeep. I had not gone far when I realized that my .45 was gone.
I was petrified .IN the army ,losing a weapon is serious business.I had o choice but to radio Captain Miller and tell him.”You what?” he said in disbelief.He paused a few seconds , then added ,”All right ,continue the mission.”
When I returned ,uneasily contemplating my fate, Miller called me over .”I’ve got something for you .” he said ,handing me the pistol.”Some kids in the village found it .Luckily they only got off one round before we heard the shot and took the gun away.” The disastrous possibilities left me limp.”For God’s sake ,son , don’t let that happen again.”
He drove offf .i checked the magazine  and found it was full .Yhe gun had not been fired.Later I learned that Miller had fabricated the scene about the kids to give me  a good scare.
Miller gave me the chance to learn from my mistake .His example of intelligent leadership  was not lost on me .Nobody ever got to the top without slipping up. When someong stumbles, my philosophy is “Pick’em up dust’em off and get’em moving again.”
