As for this, let's refer to what one of my American friends says:
" I think it depends on the American person. My grandparents were from poland and ireland. My grandmother O'Brien, great uncle Tim and great uncle Jim had beautiful Irish broughs (not sure of spelling) there was a lilt in their speech. Have you ever heard anyone from Ireland speak? Especially an older person, its sounds like music when they speak. My grandfather and grandmother Plocharczyk spoke what we would call broken english. They mixed polish and english. I give anyone alot of credit for learning another language. Some job requires perfect english . I can understand that if the job requires perfection. There is something very gentle about oriental people . I hope that never changes . Long ago we had many gentleman in america. They tipped there hat to a woman and they were careful of their language--they didn't curse by children or woman. I hope america goes back to some of its old ways."
