be not about to do sth
完全没有去做....的意图
注意:这一条不单单是be about to do sth的否定形式.肯定形式的意思是"现在马上去做",否定形式的意思并不是"现在不马上去做",而是加强about的发音,表达强烈反对的意志:"完全没有去做的意图".
例如:I'm about to tell you the answer to that.我现在正要回答你的那个问题.
但是它的否定形式并不意味着"我现在不马上回答你的那个问题"而是"我完全没有回答那个问题的打算."
例句:
I'm not about to go out shopping in all this rain.
老这样下雨,我根本不打算出去买东西.
I'm not about to sit around the house doing nothing when I have the chance to go skiing.
既然有去滑雪的好机会,我决不打算在家里闲呆着.
